With RDR looming this time next year, we at Hintons are seeing 2012 as the last year that alternative asset funds will be easily available to be purchased for your clients. This has obviously been the principal reason why we have taken Niche DFM on panel, but we are still actively marketing our panel of funds throughout this year.

The trend has shown us clearly that you, the IFA's, are looking to outsource the asset allocation of your clients portfolios, as we saw a 23% drop in money going into the single asset class funds we distribute and a massive 260% increase in Niche DFM over the last half of 2011.
